YWCA Westfield is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. YWCA policies are set by the Board of Directors, a sisterhood of up to 30 intrepid women who volunteer their time to advance the mission of the YWCA. They are legally charged with the responsibility of managing the affairs of the YWCA and work closely in partnership with the staff to ensure the success of the YWCA. Throughout our 100+ year history, we have been proud to serve Westfield with affordable programs and services designed to benefit all people. We offers services such as child care, health and fitness programs, family events, and many other special interest programs.

We invite you to learn more about and participate in our programs, explore opportunities for volunteerism, and experience the caring spirit of our organization. We are always looking for creative, motivated leaders in our community to help us with governance, programming, and outreach. The Board of Directors meets the third Tuesday each month to vote on initiatives, plan programming, and advance the future of the organization. Questions? See our list of current Directors under the "About Us" tab, and contact any one of us to learn more.
Board Nominations take place year round and we recruit and review applications on an ongoing basis. Ready to apply? Download and fill out the YWCA Westfield Board of Directors Application and return to:
